When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
BgInfo
A very useful tool available from the Systinternals Suite of tools is BgInfo. This tool enables specific system information to be available when the user logs in by displaying it as text on the background or in a popup box in the system tray. This can be very handy when they need to call the helpdesk to report an issue and provide detailed information to help with troubleshooting. The tools can be deployed to all computers and applied to the logon screen and users' desktop wallpaper--even if the user has a custom background on their desktop that changes frequently, BgInfo can overlay the text on top of the custom image and update frequently.
