I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
How to do it...
We can start the process by following the given steps:
- Start by creating a new case and filling in the case details. We are planning to use a Thunderbird profile folder as the source, so in the Select Data Source window, we choose Logical Files.

Also, you can choose the display name for your evidence source. You will notice that we have named it Thunderbird Test.
- It's time to choose Ingest Modules. We highly recommend always choosing the Keyword Search module, as this is very helpful. Of course, this time make sure Email Parser is ticked.
