Where Are We?
This chapter discusses data sets and the basics of data manipulation. It explains how they're integrated into VS.NET and how to use typed data sets to produce leaner, better code. The one part that nags us through the entire chapter, however, is the need to constantly update the list boxes whenever the underlying data set changes in any way. Chapter 13 explains how to use data binding to eliminate that requirement.
