I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
5. Step 1: Determine the Scope of the File Services Project
The focus of this step is to understand and clearly define the goals of the project so that these can be applied to the design to ensure its applicability and success. This is the opportunity to align business needs with the infrastructure design.
Following are some goals, or business drivers, that might result in a File Services redesign:
New corporate security requirements. Changing security requirements can lead to a need to reorganize data in file systems and to new security design.
