The replication topology defines how replication connections are created between members of a replication group. Full Mesh topologies allow all members to form connections with each other, creating a "mesh." Although this offers the greatest fault tolerance, it can result in servers very quickly reaching their connection limit of 256 connections, as documented in Appendix B: "Capacity and Scaling."
