Chapter 11Exhibit Design

The world of exhibit design also benefits from the integration of 3D technologies. Museum exhibitions, retail window displays, parade floats, and other related disciplines have found that 3D scanning and printing augment the tools they have used for decades. The use of 3D printing allows for easier replication of identical, complex, or differently scaled items and can help the fabrication process move more quickly.
