6. Manipulating Files

Files typically contain either text or graphics. Once you save data in a file, you can always copy, modify, move, or delete that file. Since files can contain personal or work data that are likely important to you, you need to know how to manipulate any files stored on your computer.

You can manipulate a file by modifying the contents of that file or by changing the characteristics of that file.
