Developing games on Android has its pros and cons. You should be aware of these pros and cons before you begin. First, Android games are developed in Java, but it is not full Java. Many of the packages that you may have used in past Java development are included in the Android SDK; but some packages that are helpful to game developers, especially 3D game developers, are not included.
