So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
How to choose a subject for a road test
Based on the current design, we can choose one of the high-ranked news items or enter a URL of our own choice to build a corpus around it. The logic in our code works the same for both of them. But the reason that I'm going to choose an independent link as the subject of our investigation is because I can not trust the hot trends or mainstream media any more. As I mentioned earlier in this chapter, as part of the R&D for the Sherlock Project, I had to watch closely the news agency outlets and follow all the pulses when an important news story breaks out. At the same time, I watched how trends respond to news on an hourly basis. And finally, I watched how our application works with the given data.
