So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Summary
In this chapter, we saw how we can perform atomic updates, soft commit, and optimize in Solr, which will help us to get indexed data faster and also to perform field updates on indexed documents. Then we saw how we can use new features in Solr (4.0 onwards) to get better search results based on real-time indexing data.
In the next chapter, we will cover advanced topics such as multilanguage indexing, deduplication, and UIMA support in Solr.
