Introducing Swift
Swift is a relatively new language released by Apple in 2014. It provides an easy-to-read syntax while (virtually) eliminating many of the areas that trip up beginning (or advanced) developers. Swift has evolved over the last decade and continues to add new features while simplifying complexity. It is the tool that powers Apple’s platforms and is inescapable when creating for the Vision Pro.
In this final section, I go over the basics of Swift syntax and help you begin to recognize the various keywords and formatting of the language.
