Discovering subdomains is part of the problem space of strategic design. This chapter transitions to the solution space of strategic design. That is where software design decisions are made that involve decomposing and designing the software system into modular components—the bounded contexts. “In an ideal situation, a subdomain and a bounded context coincide,” as Evans highlighted [3.1].
