I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Installing the Software
The Arduino software comes complete with everything you need to write your own sketches, compile them using a state-of-the-art compiler, and upload them to a variety of Arduino-compatible I/O Boards. It also comes with an entire collection of excellent example sketches to help you get started with the fundamentals. There is also a comprehensive set of libraries included that extend the capabilities of the built-in functions.
The one thing the Arduino software does not include is an installation program. No worries; none is needed. Simply unpack the supplied archive file (.zip for Windows, .dmg for Mac OS X, and .tgz for Linux) into a convenient place of your choosing on your computer, and there it is.
