The exercises and experiments in this chapter only scratch the surface of what's possible when hardware and software work together. Sometimes you just have to try it yourself and find out what works, what doesn't work, and, more important, why.
You now have an inkling of how to empower your peripherals to go out and work on their own without constant supervision. It's a good bet that you've already begun to think about the potential advantages this knowledge will bring in some of your Arduino projects. Some techniques will work better than you expected, whereas others will inexplicably fail. Both are good experiences as long as you learn something from them.
