Photography is essentially "writing with light." This is what Bertrand Bodin does. He says his images exist "to awaken the senses and inform the eye." His work bears witness to a gift for capturing unique moments, especially in the natural world. Bodin's nature, sports, mountain, animal, and landscape photographs can be found in his books and on his many postcards. They are also seen around the world, thanks to magazines and photo and advertising agencies. He is currently working on a book about the nature reserves of Haute-Savoie, in the French Alps. He creates his pictures using a Canon EOS-1Ds camera and a variety of lenses.
