We’ve come to the most challenging, and I think, potentially, the most rewarding point in the course. We’re going to take an algorithm which has been implemented in the C programming language and convert it into assembly language. This demonstrates how C code can be broken down into a much larger quantity of assembly language instructions. It will also demonstrate exactly what actions are performed by each of the components of a C implementation of a structured high-level algorithm.
