IN THE AFTERMATH OF THE COVID-19 pandemic, there has been a dramatic shift toward employees working remotely. According to the Owl Labs survey taken in 2020, 80% of full-time workers expect to work from home at least three times per week. This is almost double the 44% rate from the same survey taken in 2018. While there have been benefits to both the employee and organization, it has come at a price. Many of these remote workers use their personal equipment.
