It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

engine utilizes an adaptive feeder that detects the data updating frequency on the
sensor web services and fetches the latest sensor data from the services by adaptively
scheduling the requests (Huang and Liang 2012a). In this case, the cached sensor
data in the translation engine are always updated.
