So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

What would a book about Blender be without a disc full of goodies on it? Well, hopefully the world will never know. The DVD that comes with this book is packed not only with copies of Blender for Linux, Windows, and Macintosh platforms, but also a multitude of other programs that you can use to round out your open-source creative toolbox. I also include example files for each chapter. I wanted to make sure that every megabyte of the DVD has something worthwhile on it. This appendix goes though the content of the disk and explains how to get at it.
