Using the DVD

To install the items from the DVD to your hard drive, follow these steps.

  1. Insert the DVD into your computer's DVD drive.

    The license agreement appears.

    Note to Windows users: The interface won't launch if you have autorun disabled. In that case, choose StartimageRun. (For Windows Vista, choose StartimageAll ProgramsimageAccessoriesimageRun.) In the dialog box that appears, type D:\Start.exe. (Replace D with the proper letter if your DVD drive uses a different letter. If you don't know the letter, see how your DVD drive is listed under My Computer.) Click OK.

    Note for Mac Users: When the DVD icon appears on your desktop, double-click the icon to open the DVD and double-click the Start icon.

    Note for Linux Users: The specifics of mounting and using DVDs vary greatly between different distributions of Linux. Please see the manual or Help information for your specific system if you experience trouble using this DVD. You may also note that all the software on this DVD is released under the GNU GPL and therefore it's a good possibility that your Linux distribution already includes the program in ...
