It costs money to start a business. And I don’t want to be the slayer of dreams here but the romantic notion that individuals start with less then nothing and build a successful business ... well, it does happen but don’t count on it. The bottom line is that a business turns a smaller amount of money into a larger amount of money; so we need some money to start with.
