Before we start NGINX, we need to configure it. Like other system-wide services, configuration files for NGINX are stored under the /etc/ directory. Navigate to /etc/nginx/ and have a look at the files there:
hobnob@hobnob:$ cd /etc/nginx/hobnob@hobnob:$ lsconf.d fastcgi_params koi-utf koi-win mime.types modules nginx.conf scgi_params uwsgi_params win-utf
The main configuration is defined inside nginx.conf, which looks like this (once comments are removed):
user nginx;worker_processes 1;error_log /var/log/nginx/error.log warn;pid /var/run/nginx.pid;events { worker_connections 1024;}http { include /etc/nginx/mime.types; default_type application/octet-stream; log_format main '$remote_addr - $remote_user [$time_local] "$request" ...Read now
