So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Exploratory testing
Lastly, you may simply ask manual testers to poke around the application, or explore the API themselves, without being given any steps to follow. This is called exploratory testing and may be grouped under manual testing. The purpose of exploratory testing is to identify edge cases that were missed, identify unintuitive outcomes, or find bugs that may otherwise break the system.
