As Lumen is built for micro-services and APIs, components related to front-end like an elixir, authentication bootstrap, sessions and views and so on do not come with Lumen out of the box, but these can be included later on, if required: it is very flexible in that.
Routes are different in Lumen. In fact, it doesn't use Symfony router; instead it uses a different router which is faster but has fewer features. This is because Lumen sacrifices features for speed.
