So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Angular - The Component Way of Building Web Apps
Angular dropped some of the key architectural building blocks of AngularJS, such as MVC and related concepts such as $scope, and $rootScope. Angular can be considered as a complete rewrite of AngularJS, and one can create Angular apps using JavaScript (both ES5 and ES6), TypeScript, and Dart. However, it is recommended to use the TypeScript to develop Angular apps due to various reasons such as type checking, the tooling it provides (advanced autocompletion, navigation, refactoring). A quick introduction to the TypeScript programming concepts is provided later in this chapter.
