GitLab can be installed by following the instructions at https://about.gitlab.com/installation/. Alternatively, GitLab can also be installed using a GitLab Docker image by executing the following command:
docker pull gitlab/gitlab-ce
Once the Docker image has been downloaded and installed, you can install GitLab Docker container using the following command.
docker run -d -p 443:443 -p 80:80 -p 2222:22 --name gitlab --restart always -v /opt/gitlab/config:/etc/gitlab -v /opt/gitlab/logs:/var/log/gitlab -v /opt/gitlab/data:/var/opt/gitlab gitlab/gitlab-ce
Note, this command is valid for GitLab Ubuntu Docker image. It will start GitLab in a Docker container. GitLab can then be accessed using http://localhost:
