Implementing the vendor service

The vendor service is a web API that exposes a method to perform vendor registration. This service implements the actual business domain of the vendor system where a vendor can register. As we learned in the previous section, we can decompose an application based on business capability or business domain. This service implements a DDD principle and decomposes based on business domain. It contains the following three projects:

• Vendor.API: An ASP.NET Core Web API project that exposes methods to register a vendor
• Vendor.Domain: .NET Standard 2.0 class library that contains POCO models such as VendorMaster and VendorDocument, and an IVendorRepository interface to define methods essential for a vendor domain.
