Der Beruf des Softwareentwicklers entstand im Sommer 1935, als Alan Turing mit der Arbeit an seinem Paper begann. Sein Ziel war es, ein mathematisches Dilemma zu lösen, das Mathematiker schon seit mehr als einem Jahrzehnt beschäftigte – das Entscheidungsproblem.
