Getting Started With Collaboration Tools: Using Wikis
Full collaboration solutions can take a while to get set up and get started. Many software providers will tell you that you can create a project in a few clicks, but you still need to input the data for your project and team to get the best out of it. There is configuration effort involved in every solution if you want to use it effectively.
Standalone wikis are not full-scale collaboration tools and they have a very low barrier to entry.
