The Showbox is among the crown jewels of hipsterdom in Seattle. Since
1939, acts as varied as Cab Calloway, The Village People, and Bright Eyes
have graced the stage. It is the place to see great music before it
becomes the property of the masses.
Though none of this project’s design choices is remarkable on its own,
the sum just works—period. Given the lack of an official logo, the possi-
bilities were endless. The memorable final product bespeaks the essence
of the Showbox. That is to say, it speaks of music.
