Seemingly everyone loves Johnny Cash, America’s favorite bad boy who
was once referred to as the embodiment of “red, white, and black.”
Through his long and varied career, Cash’s work retained the same force
and verve of his early landmark work. A film about his life wouldn’t be
right if it didn’t pay homage to those early days.
