1. INTRODUCTION

The history of education is believed to be as old as the history of mankind. Available literature suggests that formal education in the form of schooling was started in Egypt between 3000 and 500 BC. The history of education is the history of mankind because human beings pass knowledge, skills, and attitude from one generation to the other.

Education is a key factor of the prosperity and development of a nation. Well-educated citizens have potentials for the growth and prosperity of a country. Education is considered the key to success and growth in the life of a person.
