5 CONCLUSION
The general problem of tracking a point feature
throughout an image sequence acquired by a mov-
ing camera requires the implementation of an
algorithm which is able to model the change of the
visual appearance of each feature over time. The
state of the artmotion model used for feature track-
ing is an affine-photometric warping model, which
models both changes in geometry and photometric
conditions. For camera movements which involve
high rotational velocities the 2D displacement of
a point feature between two successive frames will
