our results seem rather consistent for the other
areas. To find out a possible reason for this dis-
crepancy, we can search for corroborating evidence
in one of the articles analysed. In Figure 1 of De
Vogelaere et al. (2012), there is a similar decrease
in activity for aged brains, compared to healthier
ones, confirming our own results.
Another analysis that can be performed with
our method relates to finding areas of the brain
that are active in unhealthy brains but not on
