When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Installing a Virtual Machine
As mentioned, we will need a Virtual Machine. We are going to use Oracle VM VirtualBox to host our VMs, which you can download at: https://www.virtualbox.org (I have downloaded the VirtualBox 5.1.12 platform package for Windows). Download the version that is applicable to you on the downloads page and install it on your computer. I've left all the defaults as they were, but you can change them as you see fit (at your own risk). If all goes well, you should soon see the Oracle VM VirtualBox Manager, as follows:
To create a new VM, click the New button. You then get to pick a name (I have called my VM CI server
