Chapter 11. Working with text

Pictures can be worth a thousand words, but sometimes you also need words to convey your message to the world. For instance, it's hard to imagine brochures, pamphlets, or postcards without some text.

Text comes in two flavors in CorelDraw 9. Artistic text is used for single text lines such as titles or for text to which you want to add a special effect, such as fitting text to a path. Paragraph text is used for text-intensive projects such as brochures, ads, or newsletters. Any text created in CorelDraw 9, whether it's artistic or paragraph, makes up a text object.
