So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Einer der herausforderndsten Aspekte der Datenvisualisierung ist die Visualisierung der Genauigkeit bzw. Ungenauigkeit.
Wenn wir einen Datenpunkt an einer bestimmten Stelle sehen, neigen wir dazu, ihn als präzise Darstellung des wahren Datenwerts zu interpretieren. Es ist schwer vorstellbar, dass ein Datenpunkt tatsächlich an einer Stelle liegen könnte, an der er nicht gezeichnet wurde. Dieses Szenario ist jedoch in der Datenvisualisierung allgegenwärtig. Nahezu jeder Datensatz, mit dem wir arbeiten, weist eine gewisse Unsicherheit auf. Ob und wie wir diese Unsicherheit darstellen, kann einen großen Unterschied darin bewirken, wie genau unser Publikum die Bedeutung der Daten wahrnimmt.
