How it works...

This recipe is an extension of the previous recipe, so the architecture and application logic does not change:

• The application is organized in three layers:
  • Controller (TBookController)
  • Table Data Gateway (TBookModule)
  • Business Objects (TBook)
• Internal mechanisms perform steps as follows:
  • The controller reads information from the HTTP request
  • It invokes some methods on the Table Data Gateway layer (TBookModule instance)
  • It builds the response for the client

The difference this time is that we have implemented a data access, so the operations performed in the TBookModule (TDG) will change the configured database table directly.
