Summary

In this chapter, we have learned many advanced tools and techniques needed to deploy robust clusters, such as the following:

• Additional debugging options to manage container issues.
• Deep dives into Docker's advanced networking topics.
• Implementing our own queue messaging.
• Various security hardening tips and tricks.

All of these topics combined with previous material should cover the gamut of deployment needs for most clusters. But in the next chapter, we will see what issues we need to worry about when the number of hosts, services, and tasks reaches levels that aren't generally expected and we start seeing the clusters fall apart and what we can do to mitigate such problems.
