Introduction

Based on a theoretical analysis, supported by explorative qualitative and quantitative research, Vindeløv-Lidzélius (2018) suggests that organisations develop the capacity to generate innovation in a multifaceted way. Strategy, organisation, and leadership are all interrelated constructs that cannot be separated from the notion of innovation and how it unfolds in local realities.
