INTRODUCTION
This painting started as a result of my curiosity for trying new artistic approaches. I was planning to do a painting derived from an abstract composition. Usually I would start a new image with a clear vision of what I wanted to do in terms of subject matter, mood, color palette and so on. This one started much more vaguely, with spontaneous brush marks and very little idea of where I would be going with the piece as it progressed.
