So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

One of the complexities with investigating mobile devices and cell phones is the
variety of information sources and figuring out how they fit together. Some of the
sources of evidence in mobile devices are as follows:
• Provider/carrier
• Pen link register—call detail, IMSI (subscriber ID), IMEI (equipment
ID), and PIN/PUK (personal ID number/personal unlock key)
• Phone
• Calls, SMS, MMS, and media (graphics, audio/video, and pictures)
• SIM card
• Text messages, phone numbers (typically no graphics)
• Media card (graphics, audio/video, and pictures)
