It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
15Fine Cut to Final Cut and Beyond
After multiple rounds of revision, hopefully your overall structure is functioning smoothly. Your lead characters are compelling; your narrative arc is clear; and your audience is not confused about any major issues. You are “over the hump” and can now focus on the details of your cut with renewed focus and vigor. In order to move forward, every aspect of the cut must be thoroughly inspected to make sure it is there for a reason.
