This chapter describes how sustainability issues can and should be managed within an organization. Building on the background presented in the previous chapters, it should be apparent that, as shown in Chapter 3, the many ways in which ES&G issues affect businesses are complex, interrelated, and often of significant magnitude. Moreover, as demonstrated in Chapter 4, there is a growing understanding of the power held by stakeholders of the organization, their increasing interest in ES&G issues, and their willingness to exert their influence in pursuit of their goals.
