DSR-300A

The DSR-300A is the next step up from the DSR-250, providing removable lenses and more features. Like the DSR-250, the DSR-300A camcorder accepts Mini and Standard DVCAM or DV cassettes. Unlike the DSR-250, the DSR-300A does not have a flip-out LCD screen. However, an on-board monitor can easily be connected to the BNC monitor output connector. The DSR-300A is a step up in chip size; it has three 1/2" CCD chips, in a 4:3 format shape. (DSR-250 has 1/3" chips.) The DSR-300A uses 1/2" format lenses.
