The Tasking Live View is a central place aggregating status and progress information in a very detailed manner—much more detailed than the default Eclipse progress reporting.

Progress View vs. Tasking Live View

Figures 10-1 and 10-2 compare the level of detail in default Eclipse progress and Tasking Live View reporting. You can open both views by searching for them in the Quick Access text box in the upper-right corner of the IDE. Be sure to run a runtime workspace (for example, run the TEA-Book-Samples launch configuration).
