I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Profiling considerations
When using the Profile API, a non-negligible overhead is added to the search execution, and this leads to a number of limitations.
Profiling does not measure the search fetch phase, nor the network overhead. It also doesn't account for the time spent in the queue, merging, or doing any additional work. The statistics are not available for suggestions, highlighting, or dfs_query_then_fetch. It is a highly experimental instrument and a part of Lucene that is used for diagnostics.
