So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Abstract
In this chapter, we provide an overview of research on narratives (stories), with a primary focus on entertainment media. We define narratives as descriptions of a series of events that typically include characters, a temporal flow (events taking place over time), and causality (events linked in a cause-and-effect sequence). First, we describe the psychological processes that occur when an individual is reading or watching a narrative.
