I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Présentation et installation d’Erlang
Le nom d’Erlang provient d’un double jeu de mots. Du nom d’un mathématicien danois, Agner Krarup Erlang, dont les travaux du début du siècle ont conduit à l’énoncé d’une loi applicable à la mesure d’intensité du trafic sur les réseaux téléphoniques, la formule dite d’Erlang est très utilisée dans le milieu des télécommunications. Le langage Erlang a quant à lui été conçu en Suède, pays scandinave comme le Danemark, chez Ericsson, société spécialisée dans le domaine des télécommunications. Pouvant également résonner comme une contraction d’Ericsson Language, il n’en fallait pas plus pour que le nom d’Erlang réponde aux exigences de ses créateurs.
