It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Erlang et le jeu vidéo
De par les possibilités qu’il offre en termes de concurrence, mais également grâce à ses fonctionnalités réseau naturelles, Erlang est bien adapté au développement d’applications de jeu vidéo.
Ce chapitre présente deux cas pratiques de développement de jeu. Dans la première partie, nous présenterons la création d’un automate de type « jeu de la vie » tel qu’il peut être conçu sur la base d’une approche concurrente du développement. Dans la seconde, nous poserons les bases de l’architecture d’un jeu vidéo multi-joueur. Dans les deux cas, il s’agit de présenter des pistes et d’offrir des bases d’expérimentation au lecteur.
